Grammy-award winning artist Kacey Musgraves today announced that she will be joining global entertainer Harry Styles on tour as direct support starting next Summer.
“We are gonna light up the road next summer and I couldn’t be more excited! It will be a unique and fun blend of two ‘styles’ coming together,” said Musgraves.
Earlier today Harry Styles announced the addition of 56 new show dates in 2018 to his sold-out world tour. The new dates will be supported by directly by Musgraves in the U.S. and Canada, including stops at Madison Square Garden in New York, The Forum in Los Angeles, and Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. All tickets go on sale on Friday, June 16 via local ticket agents. Texas-native and Nashville-based singer/songwriter, Kacey Musgraves released her Mercury Records Nashville debut album, Same Trailer Different Park, in the Spring of 2013 to massive critical acclaim.  The album debuted at No.1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, making her the first solo female in five years to open at No.1 with a debut release, and the seventh to in the 22-year Nielson SoundScanera.  The gold-certified album took home awards for “New Artist of the Year” at 2013’s CMA Awards and also won two Grammy Awards for Best Country Song (“Merry Go ‘Round”) and Best Country Album (Same Trailer Different Park), an ACM Award for Album of the Year (Same Trailer Different Park), and a CMA Award for Song of the Year (“Follow Your Arrow.” Her follow up album, Pageant Material, debuted #1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart.  Musgraves has toured previously with Kenny Chesney, Katy Perry, and has sold-out famous venues including London’s Famed Royal Albert Hall.
