Keith Urban launched his Graffiti U World Tour a couple of weeks ago (June 15th), and he’s probably still trying to smooth out a few of what he perceives to be rough edges. He says it’d probably take a month to get everything solidified.

“There’s nothing like just starting the tour, because the audience, the reaction will be pretty clear of what’s working, what’s not working, what’s kind of working, what works but not there in the set,” says Keith. “It’s usually a moving, flowing set-list until maybe a month, a month and a bit into the tour, and then it starts to solidify a little bit.”

Keith just played Toronto over the weekend, and the word he used to describe the crowd was “alive.”

Keith, who is closing in on the top of the country charts with “Coming Home,” will take his Graffiti U World Tour to Gilford, New Hampshire for a two-night stand beginning Thursday (July 5th).

Audio / During rehearsals for his Graffiti U World Tour, Keith Urban and his band were reworking the set lists for his concert trek, but said there’s nothing like just kicking off the tour to let him know what songs work where…and what songs don’t.

Keith Urban (nothing like starting a tour) OC: …shows too. :29
“There’s nothing like just starting the tour, because the audience, the reaction will be pretty clear of what’s working, what’s not working, what’s kind of working, what works but not there in the set. It’s usually a moving, flowing set-list until maybe a month, a month and a bit into the tour, and then it starts to solidify a little bit. But I have a feeling on this tour I might have several different sets that we rotate in and out, which is a way to cover a lot more material for the people that come to multiple shows too.”
