• KEITH URBAN INSPIRES FANS WITH HIS LATEST SONG, ‘FEMALE.’

Keith Urban didn’t realize just how much his song, “Female,” would affect people when he recorded it late last year and debuted it on the CMA Awards. Keith connected to the song, written by Nicolle Galyon, Shane McAnally and Ross Copperman, right away as a husband, as a son and as a father, and people across the globe are connecting to it, as well.

“I’ve actually gotten some feedback from several people who have shared their own struggles and keeping things that have happened to them to themselves and the song being able to give them a feeling of connectedness to something,” he says.

Keith recently announced the title for his new album, Graffiti U, which is also the title for his upcoming tour kicking off June 15th in St. Louis. The trek will feature Kelsea Ballerini as his opening act.

Audio / Keith Urban says fans are really starting to connect with his latest song, “Female.”

  • CARRIE UNDERWOOD RESEARCHES SPORTS SPEECHES FOR INSPIRATION FOR ‘THE CHAMPION.’

Carrie Underwood’s “The Champion” has been featured during the recent NFL playoff games and will kick-off this year’s Super Bowl. She says she and the song’s co-writers Brett James and Chris DeStefano, researched great sports speeches for inspiration before writing “The Champion.”

“We started looking up great speeches, great sports speeches, great movies about sports. Those things that when you’re in the theater, you’re getting chill bumps when some coach is giving his team this amazing speech, and that’s what we wanted to put into a song,” says Carrie.

“We wanted it to be something that people could listen to when they’re in the gym, or before they watch the Super Bowl, or something that would work for this but also work for people in their everyday lives and just inspire and make them feel like they were ready for anything.”

“The Champion” will also be used to promote this year’s Winter Olympics.

The Super Bowl, pitting the Philadelphia Eagles against the New England Patriots, will air live from the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis beginning at 6:30pm ET on NBC.

  • BROTHERS OSBORNE REALIZE THEIR DREAMS OF BEING AT THE GRAMMYS.

Brothers Osborne will head into Sunday night’s (January 28th) GRAMMY Awards with their third Grammy nomination, which seems pretty surreal to John and TJ.

“Being nominated for a GRAMMY is genuinely something you dream of as a kid, you know, when you’re sitting in your room learning to play a guitar solo for the umpteenth-jillionth time,” says John. “You think of yourself like, ‘I want to be on stage one day. I want to be nominated or win a Grammy,’ but to you it’s just a dream. It’s like, ‘It probably won’t happen,’ then all of a sudden you wake up and you’re like, ‘We literally just got nominated for our third Grammy, and this is insane. How did this happen?’ After years and years of hard work, you forget about those things. I mean, not entirely. You just lose sight of it a little bit, and all of a sudden, you wake up with something like that and you’re like, ‘Wow! All this is paying off.’”

They’re nominated in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category for their Top 10 rowdy hit “It Ain’t My Fault.” This nomination joins their previously nominated performances for their No.1 Platinum smash hit “Stay A Little Longer” as well as the nostalgic “21 Summer.”

John and TJ will perform during the telecast to help honor the victims and their families of the Route 91 Harvest Festival tragedy, along with their friends Eric Church and Maren Morris.

The 60th Annual Grammy Awards will air live from Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday beginning at 7:30p ET on CBS.

  • CHRIS STAPLETON ADDED TO THE LIST OF PERFORMERS AT THIS YEAR’S GRAMMY AWARDS.

Chris Stapleton will perform with the legendary Emmylou Harris on Sunday night’s (January 28th) GRAMMY Awards. He joins previously announced performers Eric Church, Brothers Osborne and Maren Morris, who will team up together to honor the victims of concert violence last year. Little Big Town will also perform during the show.

Chris is nominated for Best Country Solo Performance for “Either Way,” Best Country Song for his current song “Broken Halos” and Best Country Album for From A Room: Volume 1.

The 60th Annual Grammy Awards will air live from Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday beginning at 7:30p ET on CBS.

If you can’t wait until Sunday to see Chris perform, watch him on NBC’s Saturday Night Live this weekend.

  • EMOTIONS WILL RUN HIGH FOR BROTHERS OSBORNE AT THIS YEAR’S GRAMMY AWARDS.

Brothers Osborne  help honor the victims and their families of the Route 91 Harvest Festival tragedy during Sunday night’s show, along with their friends Eric Church and Maren Morris. TJ says instead of nervous about performing on the Grammy stage for the first time on Sunday (January 28th), he’ll be on the emotional end of the spectrum.

“I think there’s a lot of nerves around playing the Grammys because you’re in front of the upper echelon of all genres there in one room,” says TJ. “For me, I think in a way that it’s a tribute to those victims that it kind of takes it off of that to me…I think I’ll be far more emotional than I will be nervous. I think that’s my worry is just getting through the performance in that regard.”

John says he’s feeling a lot of gratitude to be able to perform on the Grammys to honor the victims and their families. “We feel very, very fortunate to be able to play on the Grammys, especially with Eric and Maren, who are two very good friends of ours. That will take a lot of the focus off of it, because there are nerves surrounding it,” says John. “But I think…the most important thing about that moment is honoring the victims and their families above all else. And I just hope that, at the end of the day, we can help heal something, at least a little bit.”

The duo are nominated for the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category for their Top 10 rowdy hit “It Ain’t My Fault.”

  • BROTHERS OSBORNE ANNOUNCE THE TITLE AND RELEASE DATE OF THEIR NEW ALBUM, PORT SAINT JOE.

As announced this morning by The Associated Press, EMI Nashville’s Brothers Osborne will release their sophomore album Port Saint Joe April 20. The two-time CMA “Vocal Duo of the Year” just released their new single “Shoot Me Straight” off the project which was produced by Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Little Big Town). John and TJ Osborne co-wrote every track on Port Saint Joe along with frequent collaborators Lee Thomas Miller, Kendall Marvel, Barry Dean, Shane McAnally, Troy Verges and more.  The title, Port Saint Joe, reflects the small town on the Florida coast where the real-life siblings recorded the album.

Port Saint Joe is a sonic representation of who we’ve become not only as a band but as people,” says John Osborne. “Every show we’ve ever played together is on this record. Every song we’ve ever written and every mile we’ve ever ridden has led to the making of this record. Imperfections and all.”

TJ adds, “we shacked up for two weeks to make an unabashed record that would reflect who we are in every way, and in the process we had the most enjoyable and memorable recording experience of our lives.”

JOHN: “We went down to Florida to Jay Joyce’s beach house, who also produces Lanco, as well. It wasn’t even a studio. We were like, ‘We’ll just figure it out.’ We set up mics and we set up a desk. And Jay Joyce had his brother in the kitchen literally that was attached to where we were playing in the living room so you could solo some tracks and hear pots and pans clanging. So, that’s how we did it…to get away from the distractions allows you to focus in a more creative way.”

  • KIP MOORE PREMIERES THE VIDEO FOR ‘LAST SHOT.’

Kip Moore is striking a chord today, premiering his powerful music video for his new single “Last Shot,” exclusively with Entertainment Tonight, available to watch here.  Directed by Moore’s longtime collaborator and friend PJ Brown, the narrative is an inspiring interpretation of the sentiment behind the track as it follows the poignant journey of a young girl as she faces the reality of her life being cut short, but with an uplifting outlook of making everyday count. “Last Shot” is the second single taken from Moore’s revered third studio album SLOWHEART and follows his fourth No. One hit “More Girls Like You.”

“When we first talked about the video for this song, I felt like I wanted to tap into the deeper meaning behind it,” said Moore. “How that feeling of desperation and realization that every second matters, can sometimes be the motivation you need to really take action. I’ve always been a big believer of living in the moment and I hope people are inspired in some way by this video to do the same.”

Multi-PLATINUM singer/songwriter Kip Moore’s third studio album “SLOWHEART,” is continuing to garner praise by critics across the country as he “blends the passion and connection for which he’s known with a new self-awareness that will speak to both commercial and underground audiences” (USA Today) as well as wrapping 2017 on multiple “Best Of” lists including Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, UpRoxx, Bobby Bones Show, Taste Of Country, Sounds Like Nashville, The Boot, PopMatters and Whiskey Riff. SLOWHEART follows the acclaim that surrounded Moore’s sophomore album WILD ONES heralded as “an impressively singular release from Music Row” by The Guardian and his PLATINUM debut album UP ALL NIGHT that spawned three No. One hit singles including GOLD certified “Beer Money,” PLATINUM certified “Hey Pretty Girl,” and the DOUBLE PLATINUM breakout hit “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck.
