Keith Urban will take to Rockefeller Plaza this Friday morning to perform on The Today Show Summer Concert Series, his first performance in the plaza in two years. The four-time Grammy Award winner has confirmed that he will perform “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16”, his latest single that currently stands at #12, ready to add to his record breaking streak of Top 10 hits.
Urban is also providing fans with the opportunity to choose one of his songs. They’re invited to go to http://www.today.com/popculture/fan-pick-vote-song-you-want-keith-urban-sing-today-t35446 to choose from his #1 hits “Long Hot Summer” or “Once In A Lifetime” or “Good Thing”. Voting closes today (August 4th).
Urban is currently on tour performing at fairs and festivals throughout the U.S. and Canada and will begin filming for American Idol in August. The official music video for John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16, the first from Urban’s next studio album, is due to be released next month.
