In celebration of her very first holiday album, A Very Kacey Christmas, Mercury Nashville’s Kacey Musgraves is set to perform on ABC’s Good Morning America (Nov. 30), NBC’s The Tonight Show (Dec. 1) and Late Night (Dec. 7) as well as CBS’ The Talk (Dec. 5). In addition, Kacey is one of the featured performers during tonight’s CMA Country Christmas airing at 8pm ET on ABC.

Produced by Musgraves, Misa Arriaga and Kyle Ryan, A Very Kacey Christmas includes four festive original tracks, co-written by Musgraves, as well as covers of eight holiday favorites. A Very Kacey Christmas features special guests such as Leon Bridges, Willie Nelson as well as The Quebe Sisters and was inspired by holiday classics from the Forties, Fifties and Sixties with specific influences including Bing Crosby in addition to the Andrews Sisters.

The album has already received positive early reviews with The Wall Street Journal noting, “Ms. Musgraves’s album is a kooky mélange of Western swing, Hawaiian music and classic pop.” The Tennessean praises, “A Very Kacey Christmas is the most delightful holiday release of 2016” and longtime music critic Tom Erlewine adds, “the Kacey Musgraves record is the best of the batch: clever, stylish and fun.”

The GRAMMY-Award winner recently launched her headlining A Very Kacey Christmas Tour this past weekend in Windsor, ON. Additional upcoming stops include Nashville, New York City and Washington, DC.
