Keith Urban received the Champion Award at Tuesday night’s (November 7th) BMI Country Awards. Maren Morris and the Nashville School of the Arts Choir performed Keith’s first No. 1, “But for the Grace of God,” using guitars he had donated to the school.
Keith was honored by the performing rights organization for his assistance in helping the next generation of songwriters and musicians, as well as furthering music education.
He just released a new song, “Female,” to country radio. The tune was written by Nicolle Galyon, Ross Copperman and Shane McAnally.
