LADY ANTEBELLUM FEELS A SENSE OF ‘URGENCY’ ON THEIR NEW ALBUM, 747. (AUDIO)

Lady Antebellum arrives in stores and online Tuesday (September 30th), and they feel the album really kind of embodies what they were hoping for in the new album.

“There’s a song we cut on the record called ‘747,’ and…the theme of that to us feels like what represents the record – a big sound coming at you with a lot of urgency,” says Lady A’s Dave Haywood. “I felt like this was a new chapter for us as Lady A, and a new sound. We had a new producer, Nathan Chapman, guide us through making this record, and really he had a big part in a lot of the big sound.”

The album features their recent two-week No. 1 hit, “Bartender.”

We had a new producer, Nathan Chapman, guide us through making this record, and really he had a big part in a lot of the big sound, you know, like on ‘Bartender’ and then some of the other stuff, once you hear the rest of the record. It represents, I think, our theme of wanting something really in your face.”
