Maddie & Tae recently wrapped the first leg of Carrie Underwood’s Cry Pretty Tour 360, and they’re taking a little time off to re-energize and relax. The ladies are not spending time apart, however. The two will vacation together, along with their significant others (Maddie is engaged to Jonah Font, while Tae has been dating hit songwriter Josh Kerr).

“Our summer plans are going to Cabo together very soon,” says Maddie. “Yes, we are celebrating so many things – the tour, my birthday (July 7th) – and we’re getting our hunky men out and we’re doing a couple’s retreat. Wait, is that the movie? Couple’s Retreat? (TAE: “Oh my God!”) Let’s get a crazy yoga instructor. (TAE: “Yeah.”) The boys will freak out. It’ll be awesome. Omigosh. We’ll video it all.”

The duo doesn’t plan on a full itinerary while they’re in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, but they will spend time relaxing and working on their tans.

“I think just turning our brain(s) off. I sometimes think whenever you’re performing in this crazy world that we live in, it’s just hectic and you’re traveling, and just staying put in one place for a week or so and just getting to turn off the brain completely. And then I feel like we’re going to be so creatively, just like, rejuvenated after that,” says Maddie.

Tae agrees, adding, “I’m going to get a real tan, so I can stop putting a fake one on.”

The ladies, who are currently making their way up the country charts with their latest song “Die From a Broken Heart,” have a handful of fairs and festivals on the books before they rejoin Carrie and Runaway June for the second leg of the Cry Pretty Tour 360 September 10th in San Diego.
