Keith Urban takes his SPEED OF NOW WORLD TOUR to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Friday (October 7th) followed by a show in Atlanta on Saturday (October 8th). He says he loves performing live for fans and says his job as a performer is to create a space for people to shut out the world.

“I love what I get to do, that’s like No. 1, that’s the baseline. I’m incredibly grateful for it,” says Keith. “As fun and celebratory as I try and make the experience, I also take my job really seriously, as far as my job is to create almost a utopian existence for everybody that’s come so that they can shut out everything in their life and live in this alternate reality for a good few hours and feel amazing, energized, inspired, connected and to belong to something and to be a part of something. That’s really it. That’s my job.”

Tyler Hubbard and Ingrid Andress are also on the tour, which wraps in the States on November 5th in St. Paul, Minnesota. Keith will then head Down Under in December for a tour in Australia wrapping before the Christmas holidays.

Keith is currently making his way up the country charts with his latest single, “Brown Eyes Baby.”
