Luke Bryan’s single “I Don’t Want This Night to End” has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (R.I.A.A.). The song, which has already sold more than 800-thousand digital downloads, is the second single from Luke’s gold-certified album, tailgates & tanlines. The single has sold over 128-thousand downloads in the past week alone, and was Luke’s highest digital track sales week of his career. It follows his platinum smash hit, “Country Girl (Shake It For Me).”

“Obviously, the song is about a guy meeting a girl and kinda them having this connection right off the bat and just kinda getting lost in the country and with each other in the country. And certainly me being the singer, not wanting the night coming to an end because when you feel like the night’s over maybe this whole romance and thing is over also.”
