Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Little Big Town, Josh Turner, Jon Pardi and Lauren Alaina are among the artists featured on the new NOW That’s What I Call Country, Vol. 10 compilation, due June 9th. The latest installment of the popular NOW series will include some of today’s biggest hits, including “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” “Fast,” “Black,” “Kill a Word,” “Better Man,” “Hometown Girl,” “Dirt On My Boots” and “Road Less Traveled,” as well as Jason Aldean’s “Any Ol’ Bar Stool,” Kenny Chesney’s “Bar At the End of the World” and Dustin Lynch’s “Seein’ Red,” among others.

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the NOW Country brand, there will also be a Deluxe Version, featuring 14 more hits that will be released at the same time. Mother’s Day is on Sunday (May 14th), and some of your favorite country artists are celebrating the mothers in their lives this weekend.

In 1914, Woodrow Wilson signed a proclamation designating Mother’s Day, held on the second Sunday in May, as a national holiday to honor mothers.

For the eight new performances, Church will retire his two-set model (for now), and bring special guests to join him. The first to be announced for his Alabama dates Sept. 15-16 are CMA and ACM Duo of the Year winners, Brothers Osborne, and singer/songwriter Ashley McBryde who fans from Church’s Chicago show will remember due to their rousing rendition of “Bible and a .44” off her Jalopies & Expensive Guitars album.

“This tour has been so special musically; I can honestly say I’m really gonna miss it,” Church says referring to not only the journey but seeing everyone on their feet night-after-night singing as loud as they can for the entire show. “That being said, I’m looking forward to sharing the bill with some artists I enjoy.  It’s gonna be a fun challenge to turn a three-hour show into a shorter one that can vary drastically night-to-night.”

With surprise collaborative moments from newcomers like McBryde to Deep Purple’s Glenn Hughes and Rolling Stones keyboardist Chuck Leavell to guest choirs that have appeared at every stop, Holdin’ My Own Tour has notched the #1 most attended touring concert in the world in 2017 according to Pollstar with critics noting, “in a relatively short time Eric Church has firmly established himself as one of the best live performers of his generation,” Thom Jennings of the Niagra Gazette observed following his Buffalo show. “His albums keep getting progressively better as do his live shows. It may only be a matter of time before he is too big for hockey arenas and will start headlining stadium shows.”

The only thing predictable about Eric Church is that he is unpredictable. He’s an artist that has built his career with tour stops coast-to-coast, not with dozens of television performances around each album cycle. When he takes to the stage, he damn-well makes sure it’s special. With his current Holdin’ My Own Tour—a 62-city, three-plus-hour marathon, featuring a  double-set, full-band show sans opener —currently underway, Church decided to do something different for ABC’s Good Morning America and showcase his unique live solo performance for the first time on national T.V. On August 18, he will perform stripped down from 8 to 9 a.m. ET as part of their Summer Concert Series in Iconic Central Park.

This isn’t the first time that Church has rocked a crowd solo: at the end of July in 2015 he opened Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater with two sold-out acoustic shows; and when his band and crew fell ill before a show in Salt Lake City back in January 2015, Church played acoustically rather than cancelling. In August of 2016, he solo-performed at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater for two consecutive nights. Most recently when a snow storm in Calgary threatened the weight of the dome’s roof, he stripped back production and performed his marathon three-hour set mostly solo.

Even in Church’s Holdin’ My Own Tour stops that kicked off in January, each night he takes a few moments throughout the night to play solo for fans. His tour has become the No. 1 most attended touring concert in the world thus far in 2017 according to Pollstar, giving fans nights of more than 35 songs. Church has sold out all stops to date including Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. The tour will wrap with two at-capacity nights in Nashville, Tennessee May 26 & 27.

Church recently announced after he wraps his Holdin’ My Own Tour that he will play eight more shows this year (not including GMA’s SummerStage), two of which will be with CMA and ACM Duo of the Year winners, Brothers Osborne, and singer/songwriter Ashley McBryde (with additional special guests for remaining shows announced soon).

Eric Church has been selling out venues all across the country on his Holdin’ My Own Tour, which features him and his band performing two sets with only a short intermission between the two. The North Carolina native plays for nearly four hours each night, and he feels that he’s only a small part of the show.

“You kind of get into the show and you start feeling the crowd and you start playing off of them, and then it just starts to kind of take over and it becomes its own living, breathing thing,” says Eric. “I don’t know that I’ve ever experienced that before, you know, where the show kind of becomes something that it’s alive. I’m just a part of it, just like they are. I’m not really directing it. I’m not really steering it. It’s just doing its thing, and it’s been something. That’s the best way for me to say it – it’s been something. I’m fortunate that we’re able, in our career, able to have that, because it’s not something I would’ve ever even dreamed of.”

The trek, which kicked off in January, rolls into Buffalo, New York on Thursday (April 20th), followed by dates in Pittsburgh (Friday) and Cincinnati (Saturday).

Eric just released his new single, “Round Here Buzz,” from his Mr. Misunderstood album.

The nominees for the 2017 Billboard Music Awards were announced and several of your favorite country artists are up for awards. Luke Bryan is nominated in the all-format fan-voted Billboard Chart Achievement category, as well as for Top Country Tour.

Keith Urban has several BBMA nods, including Top Country Album for Ripcord and Top Country Song for “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” as well as a nomination for Top Country Artist.

Chris Stapleton is up against Keith as Top Country Artist, as well as Top Country Album for Traveller.

Eric Church is absolutely slaying his sold-out audiences on his Holdin’ My Own Tour, and he starts the musical assault with the song, “Mistress Named Music,” in which he brings out a local high school choir to finish the song. He realized since he’s already performing, he needed some help bringing the choir on stage, so he gave his five-year-old son, Boone, a job.

“Choir Wrangler is what he does…And Boone’s got a radio, he’s got his flashlight, he’s got a little work belt and his pass, he goes in there, and he’ll make sure that when the choir’s ready to go, it’s his job and Jill’s job to move these teenagers – he calls them teenagers – with flashlights over to where the show is,” says Eric. “Now what Boone proceeds to do is call me the entire time to see how close we are. My road manager, my tour manager, said, ‘I’ve been trying to get you on stage on time for a decade, and your son has a better chance of that.’ Because Boone, you tell a five-year-old we’re getting close, and you put it back down and 20 seconds later, ‘You comin’?’ ‘We’re getting close.’ But you know, it’s this constant, he’s wearing me out. [laughs] So, we do get to the stage quicker than we used to, but his job is to get them up underneath the stage and then up the steps on the stage; he waits at the bottom, they come back off, and he escorts them to where they need to go. He’s helping out, and he’s having a big time with it.”

A few weeks into his gig on the tour, Boone did negotiate a new deal with his father. “About three weeks into the tour, [Boone] goes, ‘Dad, I really don’t like my job.’ And I said, ‘Well, son, a lot of people don’t like their job.’ I said, ‘The important thing is you’ve got to do your job.’  I said, ‘What don’t you like basically?’ He said, ‘Eh, it’s boring, and I don’t get paid.’ And I said, ‘Okay, did you have catering? Yeah. Do you have a nice bus to ride on? Yeah.’ I said, ‘Well, you got paid.’ He said, ‘Well, yeah, but the band gets paid.’ So, I humor him. I said, ‘Okay, Boone. I’m gonna humor you. How much would you want to get paid.’ He goes, ‘$4,000.’ I said, ‘A show?’ He goes, ‘Yeah.’ I said, ‘How ‘bout a dollar?’ like that. He let me negotiate, and we agree on $10 a show, and I shake his hand, and I’m thinking, ‘Good God, I just got hustled.’ So, I shake his hand, and as he’s walking away, he goes, ‘That’s $30 for the weekend, right?’”

Eric takes his Holdin’ My Own Tour north of the border on Tuesday (February 28th) in London, Ontario, Canada, followed by dates in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, Winnipeg and more before returning to the States March 16th in Portland, Oregon.

Eric has released his new single, “Round Here Buzz,” which is scheduled to go for adds at radio April 10th.

Eric Church has released his new single, “Round Here Buzz,” which he co-wrote with Luke Dick and Jeff Hyde. The song, from his Mr. Misunderstood album, has a nostalgic, heartbreaking feel, according to the North Carolina native.

“‘Round Here Buzz,’ I mean, I’ve done a few of these songs in my career; this nostalgic kind of song about the guy that kind of wishes things were different than they are,” says Eric. “I know a lot of people like that and like this from where I’m from. I’m from a small town, and I’ve just seen this. I think part of the reason, I feel like we’re pretty good at this kind of song, and I think part of it is because I’ve seen it, I’ve felt it. It’s a motive to me.

The song goes for adds at radio on April 10^th.

Eric is currently out on his Holdin’ My Own Tour, which is set to run through May.
