    5a48ea58589f42241b694fc8_320x440
LEBANON, Tenn. (Oct. 19, 2015) – Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® and Kimberly Schlapman, member of Grammy Award winning country group Little Big Town, today announced the upcoming release of Oh Gussie!, a thoughtfully designed collection of home goods and kitchenware inspired by Schlapman’s love of cooking and her time at home with family and friends. The collection will be available exclusively at all Cracker Barrel Old Country Store locations and online at crackerbarrel.com starting Nov. 12, 2015.

Created and designed by Schlapman and the Cracker Barrel team, the collection includes a variety of items from whimsical kitchen utensils and inviting household décor to vintage-inspired dishes and nostalgic holiday items. Oh Gussie! will also feature a special set of pieces entitled “Paw Paw Pottery” that were inspired by the singer’s father and his recent love for creating pottery pieces as gifts for his daughter and family.“From grandmother’s aprons to flea market finds, I have always had a great love for all things home,” Kimberly said. “Cracker Barrel and I have designed a collection of some of my favorite things, and I’m thrilled to share them with you. The ‘Paw Paw Pottery’ items hold a special place in my heart as they are all inspired by items my sweet daddy created by his own two hands on the potter’s wheel. I hope these goodies sing to you as they do to me and that they find a special place in your home to give you that cozy, nostalgic feeling.”“Cracker Barrel feels like the perfect partner for me, because they stand for family and gathering around the table for fellowship. That’s what I grew up doing,” Kimberly adds. “That’s what we’ve always done in my family. We gather around the table to celebrate, to grieve, to catch up, to have a good old birthday dinner. We just gather around the table.”

“What made this partnership special from the start is Kimberly’s love of Cracker Barrel and our shared passion for bringing friends and family together for a great meal,” said Laura Daily, senior vice president of retail for Cracker Barrel. “Every product we developed with Kimberly has its own unique story, representing different parts of her life. To watch her excitement as the Oh Gussie! retail line came to life was an absolute joy for us, and we’re thrilled to share it with our guests.”

The Oh Gussie! collection features 50 items that range from $3.99 to $39.99 and offer Cracker Barrel shoppers inspiration for holiday cooking and entertaining, as well as thoughtful gift ideas for anyone who loves creating a welcoming home. More information on the Oh Gussie! collection will be available on Nov. 12 at crackerbarrel.com, and Schlapman is currently offering a sneak peek of the collection at kimberlyschlapman.com.

  • LITTLE BIG TOWN PREMIERE THE VIDEO FOR ‘PAIN KILLER’ THIS WEEKEND.

Little Big Town premiere the video for their new single, “Pain Killer,” this weekend. The group had such a great time filming the clip in the Virgin Islands.

“We truly did have a good time, and I think you really see it,” says LBT’s Phillip Sweet. “You see just our natural energy and interaction. Who couldn’t have fun in that location, first of all?”

As you can see in the sneak preview below, the quartet spent time “singing” underwater, which was a first for them. “We’ve done so much over the years, it’s hard to find something new that we’ve never done before, and this we’ve never done before. We’ve never sang all glammed up under water,” says the band’s Kimberly Schlapman. “It is a little more difficult. The hardest part is staying underwater instead of poppin’ up and floatin’. That was the biggest challenge.”

The video will premiere Saturday (August 22nd) on CMT’s Hot 20 Countdown beginning at 9am ET.

Audio / Little Big Town talk about the new video for “Pain Killer.”

We’ve never sang all glammed up under water.” JIMI: “Who knew you could sing underwater? It is challenging.” KIMBERLY: “It is a little more difficult. The hardest part is staying underwater instead of poppin’ up and floatin’. That was the biggest challenge.” KAREN: “Especially when you have on full gowns in the water. You might not be able to tell that, but…Kimberly and I had on like full gowns and then we got into the water. Roger Pistole did such a great job. He’s a great, creative director.”

  • LITTLE BIG TOWN ENJOY SPECIAL MOMENTS AS HOSTS AND PERFORMERS AT THIS YEAR’S ‘COUNTRY’S NIGHT TO ROCK’ ABC-TV SPECIAL.

Little Big Town return as hosts for “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock” on Tuesday (August 4th) at 8:00pm ET.

The group not only are hosting this three-hour special event, but they’re also performing on the show, as well. “One of the moments, I think, that stood out to me was, the biggest, I mean when we actually got to play and perform the music, as opposed to all of the hosting duties. We started our set with ‘Girl Crush,’ and that moment just swept me away. The whole crowd was lit up – their phones were lit up – and they were singing louder than we were,” says LBT’s Phillip Sweet. “It just was the most incredible feeling to feel that energy and all focused on ‘Girl Crush’ and the starkness of that song. It was just like the most incredible moment for me.”

For folks who want to come next year, LBT’s Kimberly Schlapman gives you a few safety tips. “It happens to the hottest week of the summer, every CMA Fest. Really. It’s so very hot, so you’ve got to wear a lot of sunscreen because there’s a lot of burnt backs that happen at CMA Fest,” says Kimberly. “Stay hydrated. Stay hydrated. It is so hot out there. It’s hot on the stage. It’s hot in the crowd, but you should come. If you’re even considering coming, come. You will not be disappointed.”

Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Darius Rucker, Kip Moore, Sam Hunt, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Florida Georgia Line, Brett Eldredge and Carrie Underwood will also be among the performers. The CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock will air Tuesday, August 4th beginning at 8pm ET on ABC.

LBT (CMA Music Fest) 1 OC: (Phillip) …moment for me. :55
KIMBERLY: “To me, it doesn’t get any better than singing for that crowd at the stadium. So many of ‘em do it for their family vacation, so they save up their money all year long and generations of these families come to make it their family vacation, and they’re there to hear just good ole great country music. And we got to host this year, which is just so much fun in itself, and so many different funny things happened, and all that, but…” PHILLIP: “One of the moments, I think, that stood out to me was, the biggest, I mean when we actually got to play and perform the music, as opposed to all of the hosting duties. We started our set with ‘Girl Crush,’ and that moment just swept me away. The whole crowd was lit up – their phones were lit up – and they were singing louder than we were. KIMBERLY: “It happens to the hottest week of the summer, every CMA Fest. Really. It’s so very hot, so you’ve got to wear a lot of sunscreen because there’s a lot of burnt backs that happen at CMA Fest.” PHILLIP: “Get those fan misters. Those are so good.” KIMBERLY: “Those are so cool. Just be smart. Stay hydrated. Stay hydrated. It is so hot out there. It’s hot on the stage. It’s hot in the crowd, but you should come. If you’re even considering coming, come. You will not be disappointed.” PHILLIP: “Yeah, it’s hot, but it’s like so much fun, that you don’t think about it as much, because there’s so much to do and so many concerts going on, and it’s like the town just triples in size and it’s just incredible energy all over the place. Nashville comes alive.”

  • LITTLE BIG TOWN POSTPONES MORE DATES ON THEIR PAIN KILLER TOUR.

Little Big Town has postponed a few more dates on their 2015 Pain Killer Tour, following Jimi Westbrook’s vocal cord surgery a few weeks ago. The band posted a video to their Facebook page, which features Jimi’s mouth taped shut.

They were set to resume their tour on July 31st at the Delaware State Fair, but it has now been canceled. They’re hopeful to return touring again August 22nd in Avondale, Canada.

“We are so sad that we have missed y’all this summer. You don’t know how hard it’s been,” says LBT’s Kimberly Schlapman. “We’ve wanted to see your faces, we’ve wanted to hear your voices, and we’re very, very sorry that we haven’t been out there.”
