Last year, Parker made one of his childhood dreams come true by making his first RODEOHOUSTON appearance and performing for a packed house. The electrifying show garnered him an invitation back to kick off this year’s season of what is certain to be another spectacular run for this time-honored tradition.

“I have so much to be grateful for. I couldn’t have imagined it better. I feel like I’m living in a movie. Houston is my favorite city in the world. I appreciate y’all loving us so much.”
    -Parker McCollum

  • PARKER McCOLLUM READY TO OPEN THIS YEAR’S HOUSTON RODEO.

Parker McCollum is getting a “handle” on headlining the Houston Rodeo. Last year, he sold out his debut appearance, performing for a crowd of over 73,000 people, and this year, he’s set to open the entire 2023 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on Tuesday night (February 28th).

The Texas native always dreamed of one day performing at the Houston Rodeo, and he feels this is the biggest goal he could accomplish…so far.

“Performing at Houston Rodeo on opening night is kind of the pinnacle for me. Really the one thing I set out to do when I first picked up a guitar, I did it, and now I’m getting to do it twice, and now I’m getting to do it on opening night,” says Parker. “So, obviously, I want to keep going and keep growing this thing and see how big of a level we can get to, but if this is as big as it ever got, you know I’d be totally okay and sleep just fine at night knowing that I accomplished my ultimate goal, which is playing the Houston Rodeo. Everything else is just a bonus.”

Parker, who’s sitting inside the Top 10 on the country charts with “Handle On You,” recently announced the release date for his upcoming album, Never Enough, available May 12th.

  • PARKER MCCOLLUM ANNOUNCES UPCOMING ALBUM, NEVER ENOUGH, OUT MAY 12th.

Parker McCollum has revealed the title and cover of his forthcoming studio album, Never Enough, out May 12th via MCA Nashville. Set to showcase depth in his songwriting and the evolvement of his artistry, the project will include McCollum’s new song, “I Ain’t Going Nowhere,” out everywhere today. Written by McCollum, Lori McKenna, Lee Miller, Jon Randall and Liz Rose, the up-tempo track is told from a restless dreamer’s perspective – caught between the enticing pull of wanderlust and that special person that makes staying in one place more than worth it.

“’I Ain’t Going Nowhere’ really is kind of a testament to where I’m at in my life right now. I’ve spent so much time on the road and touring and living on a tour bus and in a van since I was basically a kid and never thought I would settle down or slow down at all. And not to say I’m really slowing down, but, certainly have settled down and found that person that makes it worth it when you have a place to come home to that is not a tour bus or a highway. That was kind of the idea we were going with behind ‘I Ain’t Going Nowhere’.” – Parker McCollum

“I Ain’t Going Nowhere” follows the lead single from Never Enough, “Handle On You,” now Top-10-and-climbing on country radio and surpassing 90 million global streams. Also set to be featured on Never Enough is McCollum’s recent release “Stoned,” which marked the fast-rising star’s highest streaming debut to date, with MusicRow praising it’s a “crashing, bluesy ballad,” and McCollum is “as terrific as ever.”

This month, McCollum kicked off a packed 2023 touring schedule selling out shows in Columbus, Detroit and Cincinnati. In addition to headlining dates in major markets, the dedicated road-warrior can be seen performing at some of country music’s high-profile festivals including Stagecoach, Country Thunder and iHeartCountry Festival, plus sharing the bill with Morgan Wallen and Eric Church later this year.

  • PARKER McCOLLUM RELEASES THE OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR “HANDLE ON YOU.”

Last year proved to be a breakthrough year for Country music star, Parker McCollum – scoring major music accolades (ACM and CMT Awards), RIAA multi-Platinum and Gold certifications, two #1 hit singles and a non-stop touring schedule. Now, he is poised to take on this year with renewed energy and is setting his sights on the biggest year of his career yet. The first release for the Texas native in 2023 is his latest music video for his single, “Handle On You,” which is currently in the Top 15 at Country Radio and has surpassed 80 Million global streams to date. Directed by Jim Wright, the beautifully shot video gives insight into the push and pull of balancing a career that you love but takes you away from home and the people closest to you – striking a middle ground with humble perspective.

“Shot half of the video at a sold out show in my hometown – 20,000 people at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Shot the other half at our Family Ranch in East Texas. Seemed like the perfect opportunity to get to come home and showcase, on-camera, the place I love the most while doing what I love to do the most,” says Parker. “I love this song and wrote it with my buddy Monty Criswell, and I feel like we really kind of went in a different direction with it from my other songs. Putting this thing on film and giving the viewers a look into my life at home and on the road was an important visual for me to have go along with the track. So, in short, I love every bit of it and hope the fans dig it. Can’t wait for it to be out!”
