Taylor Swift released the official music video for her single, “I Bet You Think About Me,” this morning (November 15th). The clip, which she co-wrote with actress Blake Lively and was directed by The Shallows actress in her directorial debut, finds Taylor crashing the wedding of an ex-boyfriend, played by Miles Teller (War Dogs, Divergent, Only the Brave) and turning everything red.

“I Bet You Think About Me” (Taylor’s Version) is one of nine songs From the Vault that were added to the re-make of the global superstar’s 2012 album, Red. The song, which features Chris Stapleton singing harmonies, goes for adds at country radio today.

Taylor Swift released Red (Taylor’s Version) on Friday (November 12^th)—the global superstar’s remake of her 2012 record, Red. Among the songs are her “From the Vault” tunes—songs she wrote during the initial sessions but didn’t end up making the final record. One of them is her new radio single, “I Bet You Think About Me,” featuring harmonies by the reigning CMA Male Vocalist of the Year, Chris Stapleton.

Taylor is a tune she wrote with songstress Lori McKenna. “and I wrote this with her at her house when I was playing Foxboro Stadium on the Speak Now Tour,” she says. “We wanted this song to be like a comedic, tongue-in-cheek, funny, not caring what anyone thinks about you sort of breakup song, because there are a lot of different types of breakup songs on Red. Some of them are very sincere; some of them very stoic and heartbreaking and sad. We wanted this to be the moment like where I don’t care about anything. (laughs) And we wanted to kind of make people laugh with it, and we wanted it to be sort of a drinking song. I think that’s what it ended up being.”

Taylor will release the official music video for “I Bet You Think About Me” on Monday (November 15th). The clip is directed by actress Blake Lively (The Town, The Shallows, Gossip Girl).

On Friday (November 12th), Taylor Swift officially released Red (Taylor’s Version), the re-recording of her 2012 album, and it features the 10-minute version of the song “All Too Well,” which she has teased fans for years that it does exist.

With the new release, she also premiered a short film, All Too Well: The Short Film, which she wrote and directed (see below). The film stars Dylan O’Brien (Teen Wolf, Maze Runner) and Sadie Sink (Stranger Things, American Odyssey) who play love interests that eventually go through a painful breakup. Taylor stars as the older version of “Her,” 13 years later.

Taylor also performed the full 10-minute version of “All Too Well,” complete with the film playing in the background, on NBC’s Saturday Night Live on November 13th.

Taylor Swift appeared on NBC’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night With Seth Meyers on Thursday (November 11th) to promote the release of Red (Taylor’s Version). She talked about the project, including never-heard-before songs, and she shared the story of why “All Too Well” is actually 10 minutes long.

She also talks about how her cryptic Easter eggs originated from her first album and how they transformed her and her fans into super sleuths. She confirms the “All Too Well” short film is full of them.

Taylor and Jimmy take turns trying to stump each other about what items are hidden inside their mystery boxes in the segment “Box of Lies.”

On Late Night With Seth Meyers, she explains why she’s re-recording her albums, reuniting with her band, wanting to own her own music and experiencing nostalgia with her fans for her album Red (Taylor’s Version).

Darius Rucker is performing his current single, “My Masterpiece,” on Good Morning America on Friday (November 5th), airing on ABC.

Luke Bryan, Keith Urban and Lauren Alaina, along with several other artists, will be featured on ABC News’ Backstage Pass: Countdown to the CMA Awards on Monday (November 8th).

Jordan Davis will perform his latest smash, “Buy Dirt,” on Live With Kelly and Ryan on Monday (November 8th).

Taylor Swift will be the musical guest on NBC’s Saturday Night Live on November 13th. Actor Jonathan Majors will host.

Chris Stapleton is featured on a new version of Adele’s “Easy On Me.” The duet is a bonus track on the Target deluxe edition of her new album, 30, which is available November 19th.

Taylor Swift announced on her socials that she will release the re-recorded version of her fourth studio album, Red (Taylor’s Version) November 19^th. “I’ve always said that the world is a different place for the heartbroken. It moves on a different axis, at a different speed. Time skips backwards and forwards fleetingly. The heartbroken might go through thousands of micro-emotions a day trying to figure out how to get through it without picking up the phone to hear that old familiar voice,” Swift wrote in the post’s caption. “In the land of heartbreak, moments of strength, independence, and devil-may-care rebellion are intricately woven together with grief, paralyzing vulnerability and hopelessness. Imagining your future might always take you on a detour back to the past. And this is all to say, that the next album I’ll be releasing is my version of Red.”

Taylor described how she was heartbroken during the original making of the album, but during the process of writing and recording, she healed from that heartbreak.

“Musically and lyrically, ‘Red’ resembled a heartbroken person. It was all over the place, a fractured mosaic of feelings that somehow all fit together in the end. Happy, free, confused, lonely, devastated, euphoric, wild, and tortured by memories past,” Swift wrote. “Like trying on pieces of a new life, I went into the studio and experimented with different sounds and collaborators. And I’m not sure if it was pouring my thoughts into this album, hearing thousands of your voices sing the lyrics back to me in passionate solidarity, or if it was simply time, but something was healed along the way.”

Alan Jackson, Mickey Guyton and Vince Gill will perform during the National Memorial Day Concert airing May 30th on PBS at 8pm ET. The 90-minute special, hosted by actors Joe Mantegna (Criminal Minds) and Gary Sinise (Forrest Gump, Truman, CSI: NY), will feature all-star performance and tributes from Washington, D.C. and around the nation honoring our American heroes. Others set to perform or appear include Gladys Knight, Sara Bareilles The Four Tops, Army Veteran Colin L. Powell, actors Steve Buscemi, Kathy Baker and Mary McCormack, among others.

Chris Stapleton and Luke Bryan are among the headliners performing at Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The three-weekend event, taking place September 2-4, 9-11 and 16-18, will also include performances by Jordan Davis, Maddie & Tae, Sheryl Crow, Zac Brown Band, Dylan Scott Scotty McCreey, Brett Eldredge, Jake Owen, Jimmie Allen, as well as Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, Ludacris, Nelly, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Diplo, and many others.

Taylor Swift has made history once again. She will receive the Global Icon Award at the 2021 Brit Awards making her the first female recipient of the honor. The Global Icon award is “the highest accolade given and is reserved for truly exceptional artists” and Swift will be the fourth recipient after Elton John (2014), David Bowie (2016) and Robbie Williams (2017). She is being honored for “her immense impact on music across the world and incredible repertoire and achievements to date” and is also up for the International Female Solo Artist Award at the ceremony, which is taking place Tuesday (May 11th).

Right before Mother’s Day (May 9th), Taylor Swift has released the video for “The Best Day (Taylor’s Version).” The clip features home videos and personal photos of Taylor and her mother, along with her younger brother and father from when she was just a young baby to her rising success as a global superstar.

Taylor originally wrote and recorded the song for her mother and surprised her with it on Christmas.

“’The Best Day’ is the song I wrote without telling my mom. I wrote it in the summertime, and I recorded it secretly too, and I had this idea that I wanted to play it for her for Christmas,” Taylor said when it was originally released over a decade ago. “And so when I got the track, I synched up all these home videos from when I was a little kid to go along with the song like a music video. And played it for her on Christmas Eve, and she was crying her eyes out.”

“The Best Day (Taylor’s version)” is from the re-recorded version of her Fearless album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200.

Taylor Swift appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to talk about her release of Fearless (Taylor’s Version) on Friday (April 9th). The two got into a discussion about the song “Hey Stephen,” which the television host felt was written about him. Don’t let the “mood board” fool you; Taylor insists the song was NOT about him.

There also seemed to be a lot of chatter from fans about “Easter Eggs” embedded within the interview, and speculation has it that maybe her new version of 1989 may be next…or maybe it might be the LP containing “You Need to Calm Down” from Lover?

Taylor Swift sent fans on a huge Easter Egg/Scavenger hunt before unveiling the track list for Fearless (Taylor’s version), which is set for release this Friday (April 9th). “The vault door is about to be unhinged as you’ll think I am after you watch this video,” she tweeted.

Her fans immediately decoded the clues and revealed Keith Urban would also be included on the album. The only song previously released from the re-recordings is “You All Over Me (From The Vault),” featuring Maren Morris on background vocals.

The global superstar commended her fans on socials and wrote, “Here’s the full track list, my friends. I’m really honored that @keithurban is a part of this project, duetting on That’s When and singing harmonies on We Were Happy. I was his opening act during the Fearless album era and his music has inspired me endlessly. I’m counting down the minutes til we can all jump into this brave world together, filled with equal parts nostalgia and brand newness.”

Fearless (Taylor’s Version) will include Fearless‘ original 20 songs (19 tracks from the Platinum edition and “Today Is a Fairytale”), plus six newly recorded songs that she had written around the time of the Fearless sessions.

Taylor is also currently making her way up the country charts with her single, “no body, no crime” from her recently released album, evermore.
