The special will feature intimate conversations and at-home acoustic performances with Country Music’s biggest stars, along with clips from past ACM Awards® moments. Fans are invited to enjoy more performances by favorite Country Music artists on the official ACM PRESENTS: OUR COUNTRY Pre-Show on the Academy of Country Music’s Facebook page as well as the Amazon Music Twitch channel on Sunday, April 5 at 7:00 PM ET / 6:00PM CT. Lauren Alaina, Ingrid Andress, Gabby Barrett, Lee Brice, Blanco Brown, Lindsay Ell, Riley Green, Mickey Guyton, Caylee Hammack, Ashley McBryde, Jake Owen, Carly Pearce, Tenille Townes and more will appear from their homes to share heartfelt messages with their fans and perform acoustic versions of their hits. Starting Monday, fans will be able to re-watch the full Pre-Show and the individual performances via the ACM Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, as well as on the newly launched ACMOurCountry.com website.
Beginning today, the Academy invites Country Music artists and fans alike to share a musical moment by posting their own performances to social media, tagging an official Academy social media handle, and using #ACMOurCountry to participate in a celebratory curated feed of performances featured on ACMOurCountry.com! This campaign will continue throughout the weekend leading up to ACM Presents: Our Country special on Sunday.
“The Country Music community came together in an incredible way – and very quickly – for “Our Country,” and that outpouring of immediate artist support led us to develop a digital pre-show so that we could include even more artists in the Country Music celebration Sunday night,” said Damon Whiteside, CEO of the Academy of Country Music. “This allows more artists to share the positive messages of support and togetherness with the fans.”
ACM PRESENTS: OUR COUNTRY performances will include:
As previously announced, iHeartMedia’s leading country radio host and ACM Radio Award National On-Air Personality of the Year Bobby Bones, a long-time ACM Lifting Lives® supporter, will introduce the ACM Lifting Lives COVID-19 Response Fund during the telecast. ACM Lifting Lives, the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music, created this fund to assist individuals working in the Country Music industry who are suffering a financial crisis as a result of the pandemic. Those in need can apply for funds at ACMLiftingLives.org.

Caylee is making her way up the country charts with her debut single, “Family Tree.”
In this new temporary world of self-distancing and quarantine due to the Coronavirus outbreak, many of Nashville’s touring musicians are not working…if they don’t play, they don’t get paid. Enter FAMILY TREE LAWN CARE CO, which was formed by a few of Caylee Hammack’s band members. They have taken the name from her radio single, “Family Tree,” and have had mowers, weedeaters, blowers and other equipment donated to them for their new business.
“We decided to start FAMILY TREE LAWNCARE CO because we saw a need as concerts, tours and festivals were all canceled or postponed. We realized hundreds if not thousands of industry professionals are now out of work, so we decided we’d start a lawn care company to hopefully provide work for ourselves and hopefully down the future, if dreams turn into a reality, we can provide work to other industry professionals, as well,” says guitarist Lance Herring. “We decided to call it Family Tree Lawncare Company, because we work for the UMG/Capitol recording artist Caylee Hammack, and her first radio single was titled ‘Family Tree,’ and we thought it was a very apt name to get this thing off the ground.”
He continues, “People have been so kind to donate or lend us lawn mowers and weed eaters and blowers and equipment to get this thing off the ground and jump start our efforts to help provide us income for ourselves and other industry professionals. So, we’ll see where this thing takes us, but it’s been fun. We can be reached at familytreelawncareco@gmail.com. If you have a lawn that needs mowed or have a piece of equipment that’s just sitting in your shed that’s not doing anything, we’d love to take that off your hands and put it to a good use.”
Lance (Family Tree Lawncare Co) 1 OC: …good use.

Eric Church (performing energy) OC: …type of crowd. :40
“Well, I think for me every night I try to empty the tank. There’s always that energy floating around. It’s a palpable thing, and it’s up to me to start that exchange and get the crowd to give it back to me and then watch it build on itself and just to have that experience. We have one night here in whatever city we’re in, you know, we’ve got this night. I’m not gonna see you for a while you’re not gonna see me for a while, you know? And I love being able to capitalize on that moment and trying to live in that moment and get as much energy exchange between myself and the crowd as we can. I love that. That’s my favorite part of what we do. I love being around people, I’m very passionate about my music, and I love people who are passionate about the music too and I love playing a show for that type of crowd.”
Eric Church (Some of It coming of age) OC: …figure it out. :56
“That’s a song, a coming-of-age song, it’s an adult song. It’s adult music. If you listen to the thematics in that and what it’s about, it’s about being older and having some wisdom about you. I think that’s something that I appreciate in my fan base now that early on probably wasn’t there. We were young and drunk and fighting and stupid. But I think now to see them grow – to see the fan base grow – it’s just one of those songs that came along at the right time. And again, it was such a blessing that happened. It wasn’t going to be on the album. It was just one of those freak things that I put it on the album, the last song on the album. The album was done, and all of a sudden it becomes the pillar, one of the pillars on the album. I think again, you go back to it’s one of the great things about music, is you just never know what’s going to happen until it’s all said and done. You can try to plan all you want to, but you’ll probably not going to figure it out.”
Carrie Underwood (Entertainer nod 2019) OC: …sorry boys! (laughs) :28
“I personally feel like entertainer. It’s everything, right? So, I feel like people kind of narrow it down to tours, but I feel like there’s so many more components to it. And, you know, I’m blessed and lucky to be nominated, obviously, and fantastic company. It would be amazing, but of course, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want it. (laughs) Sorry boys.” (laughs)
Luke Bryan (Entertainer wins) OC: …got it right. :49
“The title is what it is, you know? I mean, my focus in life when I’m on stage is entertaining these fans. If it’s my smile and my demeanor, if it’s my song that does it, if it’s me picking up a child out of the audience and letting them sing, it’s not being so premeditated that you can see it from a mile away. I mean, my main thing is be a fan up there that just gets to sing. That’s kind of how I’ve always approached it, and being called the Entertainer of the Year makes me want to do that to the best of my ability every night for the rest of my life as long as I’m on stage. I want people to leave my shows and go, ‘You know what? Whoever’s voting him Entertainer of the Year, they got it right.’”
Jordan Davis (ACM nomination) OC: …in Vegas. :18
“Hey! This is Jordan Davis, and I just want to say thank you to the ACMs (and) to all my supporters in country music for making me a nominee for the New (Male) Artist of the Year at the 55th ACM Awards. I grew up watching this and to be on it now is a dream come true. So, thank y’all so much. Looking forward to an awesome weekend in Vegas.”
Caylee Hammack (ACM nominations) OC: …Thank you. (laughs) :47
“I am blown away and just completely in awe in this situation to wake up and realize that I have two nominations for the ACMs. It’s, this is the biggest blessing in my life, I feel like right now, and I’m just so excited to be included in such a great group of women in the first place with Miranda Lambert pulling us all together to do that cover. It is amazing to see that it was nominated for Music Event of the Year and also as a young female artist in this industry, it is such a validating moment for me to be nominated as a New Female Artist of the Year nominee. Just thank you. Anybody, whoever it was, who had to kill somebody to get me there. Thank you!”(laughs)
Caylee Hammack released a new song and video for “Small Town Hypocrite.” A hauntingly stripped-down melody, Hammack’s raw vocals veer from fiery and demanding to quiet and vulnerable. Hammack co-wrote (Jared Scott) and co-produced (Mikey Reaves) the song that has already garnered attention from Billboard for the “emotional” track, declaring her “storytelling [is] at the forefront.” Led by strikingly-personal lyrics, that also hold the unique power to resonate with many, “Small Town Hypocrite” is a career song in the making. Hammack recounts how she left the guy she put her life on hold for, packed her things and drove to Nashville, even living in her car to finally follow her dreams.
“This song is one of the most personal and difficult songs I’ve ever written,” divulged Hammack. “But, I like to think that is why it strikes a chord with people, a lot of us have been in a situation where we’ve taken stock of our lives and thought ‘what in the hell am I doing? This wasn’t what I signed up for and it definitely isn’t what I dreamed about.’ Performing it can be hard sometimes because it takes me back to those feelings and that place, but I know there is strength in being vulnerable too.”
Check out the video below.
The release of “Small Town Hypocrite” follows Hammack’s debut breakout single “Family Tree,” which is at Top 30 at country radio. Caylee is set to hit the road with Reba McEntire next month. The trek kicks off kicks off March 20th in Evansville, Indiana.
