Carrie Underwood’s induction into the Hollywood Walk of Fame last year will be featured during a television special on Friday (January 4th). The special, The Hollywood Walk of Fame Honors, will air on The CW Network beginning at 9pm ET. Ceremonies honoring Jennifer Garner, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, N’Sync, Zoe Saldana, Gillian Anderson, Mary J. Blige, Jack Black and Simon Cowell will also be included.
Keith Urban will headline the Allstate Championship Tailgate party prior to the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship between Clemson and Alabama on Monday (January 7th) at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The game will kick off at 8pm ET.
Kacey Musgraves will perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival April 12th and 19th. She’ll join headliner Childish Gambino, plus Diplo, Janelle Monae, Jaden Smith and many more. Jordan Davis started a Christmas tradition when he moved to Nashville a few years ago. He goes to the historic Belcourt Theatre to catch a viewing of the classic It’s a Wonderful Life. “They play it at a theater here in town, and it’s something that I really look forward to going and seeing that movie,” he says.
As a young man, he and his brother Jacob asked for a specific present together. “Me and my brother asked for go-karts together, and I was actually worried that we weren’t going to get ‘em, because I knew my mom probably thought we were going to kill ourselves,” says the Louisiana native. “We woke up Christmas morning and me and Jacob, we run into the living room and don’t see a go-kart. I remember being like sad opening presents, and then my dad tells me he thought he heard some reindeer in the backyard. So, we jet to the back of the house and there’s two blue-and-white go-karts in the backyard. So, that’s the one I always remember. That was a great present.”
Jordan says the music that signals the Christmas season is anything by Nat King Cole. “My favorite Christmas song is Nat King Cole’s ‘Buon Natale.’ I don’t know the record it’s on it, [but] we would just play that song over and over and over. So, that’s by far my favorite, but anything by Nat King Cole. I mean Nat King Cole is Christmas to me, always playing, always having some type of Christmas music on. I remember growing up, my mom, she would start on Thanksgiving. We would start listening to Christmas music and anytime you’d walk into the house if Mom was home, there was Christmas music playing.”

Jordan Davis performed at half-time during Sunday Night Football’s match-up yesterday (October 28th) between the New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings. New Orleans came from behind to win the game 30-20.
Keith Urban, Chris Stapleton and Lady Antebellum will headline next year’s C2C: Country to Country music festival. The three-day event, which runs March 8th-10th in London, Glasgow and Dublin, will also feature performances by Lyle Lovett, Brett Eldredge, Dustin Lynch and many more.
Josh Turner was able to take a couple of days to spend with his family (which includes his wife and four sons) at Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida for the boys fall break. His first gospel album, I Serve a Savior, is available now.

Kacey Musgraves covered Keane‘s “Somewhere Only We Know” for the BBC last week, and over the weekend, the band’s Tom Chaplin joined her at her show in London for a live performance of the song.
Jordan Davis is closing in on the Top 20 with “Take It From Me,” which he co-wrote with his brother Jacob Davis and songwriter Jason Gantt, and he says the lyrics of the song represent him very well.
“I think that ‘Take It From Me’ is a little more me lyrically as far as like the delivery of it,” says the Louisiana native. “I think you can kind of see a few more of my influences on some of those lyrics.”
“Take It From Me” is the follow-up to his recent No. 1 smash, “Singles You Up,” which has been certified platinum for more than 1 million copies sold.

I feel like if we would’ve gone the other way, ‘Singles You Up’ would’ve been right behind it. I think that ‘Take It From me’ is a little more me lyrically as far as like the delivery of it. I think you can kind of see a few more of my influences on some of those lyrics. When you have something like that, even as a songwriter and for us that write songs a lot, you still don’t get a ton of those that you just can’t stop listening to. If we fall in love with something that quick, I think we think that our fans would gravitate towards it too.”
