Louie TheSinger is set to hit stages across the nation for his first-ever U.S. tour, Desperado. Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off on June 15th at the House of Blues in Orlando making stops across the U.S. in San Antonio, San Diego, Denver, and more before wrapping up in Charlotte at The Underground on July 27th.

Dierks Bentley and Brad Paisley are among the performers for the all-star celebration, Great Performances — George Jones: Still Playin’ Possum, which is set to air Friday (February 23rd) at 9pm ET/8pm CT on PBS. Recorded last April in Huntsville, Alabama, the tribute marks the 10th anniversary of George’s passing. Jelly Roll, Justin Moore, Tracy Byrd, Sara Evans, Wynonna, Tanya Tucker, Trace Adkins, Jamey Johnson, Joe Nichols, Uncle Kracker, Travis Tritt and R&B legend Sam Moore also performed. Dierks performed “Why Baby Why,” while Brad performed the iconic hit “He Stopped Loving Her Today.”

Louie TheSinger released the epic video for his song, “Brothers.” The clip features musician Chris Perez, as well as actor Joseph T. (JT) Campos (Queen of the South, Law & Order: Organized Crime, Prison Break).

Jon Pardi marked the first birthday of daughter Presley Fawn on Sunday (February 18th), showing adorable photos of her smiling, in overalls, eating birthday cake and even a video of her first steps. Jon and his wife Summer are expecting their second daughter later this year.

Newcomer Louie The Singer has released his first song, “Brothers,” through Universal Nashville. The Fort Worth, Texas native said it was difficult for him to be vulnerable when he first started writing the song. “When I initially started writing ‘Brothers,’ it was hard for me to open up,” he says. “I had a good conversation with a friend of mine from California, and he was like, ‘You need to start making those stories and stuff like that that you went through, songs.’ It wasn’t necessarily me in the song, but it was definitely something that happened in my life about 10 years ago.”

He went into the recording studio with Tejano guitarist-producer Chris Perez and his band to create his new music. “You know, I feel like we got a solid record and for it to be my first single released under a major label,” says Louie. “Like, you know, every artist’s goal is to to be signed to a major label is to be doing this professionally and feeding their family and for my first single to be released with Chris Perez and the Chris Perez band is like, man, it’s a little surreal you know? So, it’s like you kind of almost want to ask yourself is this really happening?”

UMG Nashville has signed rising star Louie TheSinger. Louie has built a strong foundation based on trust with his fanbase by placing his truth at the forefront, sharing the scars and the joys through his music.

Upon his release, he put all his focus on family and on creating and performing music his own way.

“It’s crazy to think that I was just in a prison cell three years ago and now I’m signed to one of the biggest record labels in the world,” shares Louie. “Big thank you to Cindy Mabe and my new fam at UMG Nashville. I’m ready to disrupt country music (in a good way). I’m just tryna add a little spice and make my people proud. It’s time Mexican Americans have a voice in this country world and I’m here for it.”
