• REBA McENTIRE LOVED THE IDEA OF PLAYING “SUNNY BARNES” IN THE NEW SEASON OF ABC’S BIG SKY.

The wait is almost over for fans of the ABC drama series, Big Sky. The third season of the show, titled Big Sky: Deadly Trails, premieres this Wednesday (September 21st) at 10pm ET/9pm CT, and features a few new faces this year — Reba McEntire and boyfriend Rex Linn (CSI: MiamiBetter Call Saul, Young Sheldon). Reba plays “Sunny Barnes,” who is described as a “successful backcountry outfitter with a secret history of missing customers.” Rex plays her husband “Buck Barnes.”

The country superstar says she was approached by Executive Producer and Showrunner of Big Sky, Elwood Reid, and said she absolutely would love the chance to play Sunny on the show. “When Elwood Reid first pitched his idea for me becoming a member of the Big Sky family, I fell in love with it. I absolutely loved it,” says Reba. “Yeah, I play a devious, conniving, scheming woman on one side and on the other, I’m a really nice gal. I get to play on the screen with Rex Linn — he plays my husband – and a cast of wonderful characters. I love the crew (and) everything about filming Big Sky. I can’t wait for y’all to watch it.”

Big Sky also features Jensen Ackles (SupernaturalThe Boys), Katheryn Winnick and Kylie Bunbury.

Reba is set to kick-off her fall arena tour, Reba: Live in Concert, kicks off October 13th in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Reba McEntire (one of her favorites on album) OC: …Christmas In Tune. :30
“One of my favorite songs on this collection is ‘Away In A Manger.’ That song holds a special place in my heart because it was the first song I ever sang behind a microphone at my first grade Christmas program back in Kiawa, Oklahoma. Sixty-some odd years later, here I am still singing Christmas songs. In addition to that song, you’ll also hear ‘I Needed Christmas,’ which you might recognize from my Lifetime original movie, Reba McEntire’s Christmas In Tune.”
