NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Tuesday, February 24, 2015) – MCA Nashville’s Sam Hunt makes his first appearance on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Wed. night, Feb. 25 at 11:35 p.m. ET / 10:35 CT. Hunt performs his latest Top 15 single “Take Your Time” and crowd-favorite “House Party” on the late night show’s outdoor stage.
“Take Your Time” follows Hunt’s No. 1 Platinum-selling hit “Leave the Night On” off his critically-acclaimed major label debut, MONTEVALLO – the No. 1 and best-selling debut album for a country artist since 2011. Hunt’s accelerated climb in the country format combined with his passionate fanbase helped secure his place as one of this year’s ACM New Artist of the Year finalists. The fan-voted award winner will be announced April 19 at the 50th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, airing live on CBS. Voting opens April 8 at VoteACM.com and runs through the opening of the show.
Between his sold-out Lipstick Graffiti Tour dates, Hunt will spend a few days at the annual SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas. Hunt is scheduled to play The Spotify House (previously announced) March 18 at 1 p.m. followed by the Fader Fort at 6 p.m. then, he will perform at the UMG Experience Showcase at 3:30 p.m. on March 19 at the Palm Door.
