ALAN JACKSON WILL PREVIEW SOME NEW SONGS DURING HIS OPRY APPEARANCE ON TUESDAY. (AUDIO)

Alan Jackson will give fans a sneak peek of his upcoming album, Thirty Miles West, when he takes to the stage of the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday (May 8th). During a 30-minute set, Alan will perform some of his greatest hits along with the new material. The superstar’s portion of the show will be taped for a later airing on GAC’s Noteworthy at the Opry. Little Big Town, Thompson Square and Chris Young are also scheduled to perform at the Opry on Tuesday.

  • Thirty Miles West is scheduled to be released June 5th, under a partnership between EMI Records Nashville and ACR (Alan’s Country Records).

“I mean, it’s always tough in the early days to go out on the Opry, just because it’s intimidating, you know – the wood floor and all that greats like Hank and everybody stood on, and then just the whole atmosphere that goes along with the Opry.”
