BRANDON LAY RELEASES INFECTIOUS NEW SONG, “STILL ROCK & ROLL.”
Artist
Brandon Lay

Brandon Lay recently released a new song, “Still Rock & Roll,” that he’s been playing during his live shows and getting a great response from fans, especially with the infectious sing-along aspect of the tune. He co-wrote “Still Rock & Roll” with J.T. Harding and Shane McAnally, and the Tennessee native is excited to perform it when he hits the road with Brantley Gilbert in January on the Fire’T Up Tour.

“There’s a very passionate kind of spark that happens, I think it’s just a quick moment in time, when you run into someone you haven’t seen in a long time, it’s almost like looking in a mirror for a second,” says Brandon. “So, that’s kind of what the song embodies in a rock and roll sort of way, and those were always my favorite kind of songs, and I just hope people can relate to ‘em. The whole vibe of the song, the nostalgia and the sound of it, definitely fits that big impact arena song that I’ve been going for.”

The Fire’T Up Tour 2020 kicks off January 23rd north of the border in London, Canada.

In other news, Brandon also recently found out his anthemic song “Speakers, Bleachers, Preachers” was just certified gold in Canada.

Brandon Lay (Still Rock and Roll) OC: …with it. :59
“‘Still Rock & Roll’ was a song I wrote with J.T. Harding and Shane McAnally, and it’s a song that we have actually played live in my live show for quite some time. We wrote it quite a while back but recording it in the studio, it just never seemed to pay off the way it did live. So, it actually took 3 or 4, I think it took 4 tries in the studio to get it where we wanted it and where we felt like it was matching the energy we had in our live show. There’s a very passionate kind of spark that happens, I think it’s just a quick moment in time, when you run into someone you haven’t seen in a long time, it’s almost like looking in a mirror for a second. So, that’s kind of what the song embodies in a rock and roll sort of way, and those were always my favorite kind of songs, and I just hope people can relate to ‘em. The whole vibe of the song, the nostalgia and the sound of it, definitely fits that big impact arena song that I’ve been going for. And so, I’m just glad to have it out and hope people can identify with it.”
