Performing for the first time as reigning CMA Vocal Duo of the Year, EMI Nashville’s Brothers Osborne wrapped a thrilling week with sold-out shows at New York’s Irving Plaza and in front of a hometown crowd at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD as part of THE DIRT RICH TOUR.

The excitement began when the duo won “Song of the Year” at the ASCAP Country Music Awards for their GRAMMY-nominated, No.1 hit “Stay A Little Longer” which they co-wrote with good friend Shane McAnally. The exhilaration continued two days later when John and TJ Osborne pulled the “upset of the year” (Nash Country Daily) and won “Vocal Duo of the Year” at the 50th Annual CMA Awards.

“The amount of love and support we’ve felt in the past week is something that we’ll carry with us forever. I still get choked up thinking about it,” says John. “The timing of Saturday’s show couldn’t have been more perfect than getting to share this moment with the people that were there from the very beginning, watching us play in bars as teenagers with our Dad. This journey has been an incredibly long one but we’ll never forget the ones that were there for us along the way. Without them it wouldn’t have been worth it.”

TJ adds, “It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am to our friends, fans, and family who supported us when so many weren’t giving us any recognition. This week was not only a win for us but for them as well, and it felt so good to be able to go back to our home state and celebrate with them all.”

2016 has been a whirlwind year for the real-life siblings that began with the release of their critically acclaimed debut album Pawn Shop. Produced by Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Little Big Town), Brothers Osborne co-wrote every track on the album that Rolling Stone praises, “is one of the year’s flat-out most enjoyable releases.” Pawn Shop has already landed on several “Best Albums of 2016” lists including SPIN, Brooklyn Magazine, Wide Open Country and Rolling Stone Country. The Maryland natives also celebrated their first No.1 at country radio for “Stay A Little Longer”, made their debut at The Grand Ole Opry, and embarked on their first-headlining THE DIRT RICH TOUR this year.

Brothers Osborne will continue on THE DIRT RICH TOUR through the beginning of next year with upcoming stops in Toronto, Philadelphia and Atlanta. Newly added dates include Seattle on Dec. 1, New Orleans on Jan. 5 and Houston on Jan. 6. The duo will also play Nashville’s Marathon Music Works on Jan. 18. Fans can purchase tickets beginning this Friday at dirtrichtour.brothersosborne.com

Brothers Osborne (CMA love) OC: …is great. :26
TJ: “We definitely can feel the love and I feel like we’re trying to reciprocate that as much as we can because we are incredibly thankful. I mean, it’s amazing. We came to this town so many years ago. We look like an overnight success, but we came here just some poor blue-collar kids from Maryland, and here we are winning a CMA [Award]. I wish I could be home with all our boys back home. I know they’re celebrating.” JOHN: “I know! I know.” TJ: “This is great!”
