Singer/songwriter Canaan Smith’s hit single “Love You Like That” has been certified Gold by the RIAA for digital sales in excess of 500,000. Climbing its way up country radio’s Top 10, the song has garnered almost 33 Million combined streams (total streaming partners) and remains the best-selling debut single currently on the country radio chart.Canaan’s debut album, Bronco, features “Love You Like That” plus 10 additional tracks. The Mercury Nashville artist co-wrote all but 3 of the songs on Bronco and partnered with producers Brett Beavers, Jimmy Robbins, Ryan Tyndell and Luke Wooten on the project.
“As an album, I wanted Bronco to tell my story of who I am, and lead the listener through my life and what I’m all about. The Virginia native recently performed at The Knot’s Dream Wedding by surprising the featured couple who requested “Love You Like That” for their ceremonial first dance. The song resonated with Samantha and Taylor who said: “we just knew it was our song after the first time we heard it.”
