“Thank you so much,” she said. “Thank you, God for the talents you give to people and the gifts you give people and not just what you give to the people who are up to tonight but for every single person. We all have gifts and hopefully we use them to make the world a better place.

“Thank you, Mike, Isaiah, Jacob – my boys – going out on the road with us this year. It was hard, but it was amazing. You guys are my whole world, so I love you so much.”

“Thank you to the fans. Thank you so much,” she continued. “You guys support each and every one of us. You’re the ones that show up to the shows. You’re the ones that stream the music, buy the music. You guys love on us so well. Thank you so much for that. And I want to thank the AMAs for making this awards’ show fan-voted, because they’re the ones that matter. They’re the ones that count. They’re the ones that allow us to do what we do.”

Carrie recently released her latest single and music video for “Drinking Alone,” and she has some downtime to spend with family with her only date on the books for the annual Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, California on April 25th, 2020.

Carrie Underwood (Cry Pretty album title) 1 OC: …out of my head. :41
“I felt like that song was as good a representation as I was going to get as an example of what was to come on the rest of the album. So, it’s really hard to sum up the album in one theme or one sound, but I felt like that song, it was like okay, it’s different. I don’t know, we decided to break some rules, and I felt like that was a really good representation of that. I could see everything visually. I could just kind of see the album cover in my head and all the things we could do with it as far as pictures and video and tour and stuff like that, once it just popped into my head that this should be the title I kind of couldn’t get that out of my head.“
