Carrie Underwood won a Billboard Music Award Sunday night (May 23rd) for Top Christian Album for her Christmas collection, My Gift.

When Carrie released My Gift last year, she said she had always wanted to make a Christmas album. “I love these songs. I love singing about Jesus. I love Christmas as a whole, as a time of year,” she says. “So, I have always wanted to make an album like this, so I did. (laughs) I always wanted to, so we did it.”

 

 

Carrie is having a lot of success on the Christian charts due to her gospel album, My Savior, which debuted at the top of both the Billboard Country and Christian Charts.

In other news, tickets for her REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency — her recently announced headlining engagement run at The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas — go on sale Today at 10am PT/1pm ET. Recently, she added six more shows, which open December 1st.

The dates are:

  • December 2021: 1, 3, 4, 8, 10, 11
  • March 2022: 23, 25, 26, 30
  • April 2022: 1, 2
