Caylee Hammack is like a giddy teenager when talking about being back out on the road opening for Luke Bryan on the Proud To Be Right Here Tour.
“I could not think of a better way to get back into what we consider our normal work life than getting to go on the road with Luke Bryan. We just finished our first week, and it was just unreal, you know? I knew that I missed it, but I didn’t realize truly how much I need to be able to connect with people through music,” says the Georgia native. “I mean, people showed up early and cheered me on and I can’t explain to you how much it means to me when people show up for the opening act, and I’m just forever grateful that Luke Bryan brought me out on this tour. The tour is called Proud To Be Right Here, and I am so very proud to be where I am right now that I get to open up for someone like Luke.”
She adds, “I can’t say how thankful I am, because every time I go on stage and I see someone singing back these songs that I released during the pandemic and I haven’t got to truly perform for people since it has come out, it just makes me giddy. It makes me so very happy and so grateful that I get to do what I love again.”
The next stops on the Proud To Be Right Here Tour are Friday (July 16th) in Hartford, Connecticut; Saturday (July 17th) in Bristow, Virginia and Sunday (July 18th) in Holmdel, New Jersey.
