Darius Rucker is swiftly approaching Top 5 on the country charts with his latest single, “Wagon Wheel,” and the video for the song – featuring the Duck Dynasty cast and Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley – is one of the top fan favorite videos at the moment. Darius and the guys had a great time on the set, and off-camera, the singer and DD’s Jase Robertson made plans to do a little duck hunting together. “They’ve got to take me duck hunting. That’s something I’ve never done, and I’ve always wanted to do,” says Darius. “I didn’t have a dad growing up, and everything. It’s just something I didn’t do. Luke’s gonna take me deer hunting, and you guys’ll take me duck hunting, and I’ll be happy.”
Jase tells Darius that it’s not that easy; a lot has to go into just the preparation of going duck hunting. “A lot of things have got to happen to go duck hunting,” explains Jase. “I mean, you’ve got to have a place to go, you’ve got to have boats, motors, shells, guns, guides, beards. I mean you’ve got to work on that. [Darius laughs] Right now, you’ve got that psychiatrist look going on. [laughs] We’ve got to rough it up a little bit.”

JASE: “The best part of all that is we’ll gather up and then we get to put our ducks on the grill, and I’m gonna tell ya, they’re the ribeye of the sky. [DARIUS: “I’m with that.” Laughs] The best fast food you can eat. You know, ducks can fly up to 70 miles an hour.” DARIUS: “Yeah, I just hope I can get ‘em.” [laughs] JASE: “You’ll do it. Nothin’ to it.”
