Nashville, TN – Over the weekend, MCA recording and GRAMMY®-nominated artist David Nail, invited students enrolled with GRAMMY U out to his tour stop in Irvine, California with Lady Antebellum on their Take Me Downtown Tour. The college students enrolled in the GRAMMY U program were allowed to attend Nail’s sound check for his concert being held later that evening at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater on Saturday night. Immediately following sound check Nail took part in question-and-answer discussion as well as posing for a photo with the students.
GRAMMY U SoundChecks has featured a host of artists including: Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, The Black Keys, Mary J. Blige, Colbie Caillat, Mariah Carey, The Civil Wars, Coldplay, Dave Matthews Band, Drake, Melanie Fiona, Foster the People, fun., Ellie Goulding, Imagine Dragons, Carly Rae Jepsen, Jack Johnson, Kesha, Alicia Keys, Linkin Park, The Lumineers, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Maroon 5, Chrisette Michelle, Miguel, Mumford & Sons, No Doubt, Paramore, Phoenix, Robert Glasper Experiment, Esperanza Spalding, Taylor Swift, U2, among many others.
