While living out in Telluride, Dierks Bentley and his son Knox are taking part in one of the father-son duo’s favorite sport, hockey. In a video Dierks recently posted to his socials, he and Knox “re-create” a scene from the 2004 film, “Miracle,” which was based on the United States men’s ice hockey team, led by head coach Herb Brooks (played by Kurt Russell), that won the gold medal in the 1980 Winter Olympics. The U.S. victory over the favored Soviets was dubbed “Miracle on Ice.”
If you haven’t watched the great hockey movie #Miracle, this won’t make much sense. #HerbBrooks #again @NHL pic.twitter.com/DnpMc5ZEE9
