DIERKS BENTLEY RELEASES HIS NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO FOR ‘SAY YOU DO.’ (AUDIO AND PRESS RELEASE)

Nashville, TN – Sept. 22, 2014 – On the heels of back to back No. one hits, Dierks Bentley’s stirring new single “Say You Do” is now available at Country Radio. The track is the third release from his CMA Nominated and critically acclaimed album RISER with “I Hold On” and “Drunk On A Plane” already having staked their claim at the top of the charts and selling nearly two million downloads.

The music video, shot in Canada last month and directed by Wes Edwards, simultaneously premieres today on VEVO. http://www.vevo.com/watch/dierks-bentley/say-you-do/USUV71401411

“I think it’s pretty evident there is a hardcore yearning going on in this song, and personally, it’s something I’ve experienced in the worst of ways in past relationships,” said Bentley. “This song is about wanting something so badly even if it’s not good for you, just wanting that love back, which is something I think everyone can relate to at some point in their life.”

With five nominations, Bentley recently received the most nods of any male artist for the upcoming 48th Annual CMA Awards including “Male Vocalist of the Year,” “Album of the Year” for RISER, “Song of the Year” for “I Hold On” and “Single of the Year” and “Music Video of the Year” for his most recent chart-topper and Platinum certified “Drunk On A Plane.” Bentley is currently out on the road headlining his 2014 RISER TOUR, which will run through the end of the year. “One of the biggest goals of this record was just tapping into all the great songs in this town. It definitely ties into ‘Bourbon (in Kentucky)’ and it definitely ties into places in my past with different relationships. I just feel like vocally, Ross was able to wring something out of me that I hadn’t gotten to before, and it feels pretty powerful. I feel like we’re starting to get the ball rolling towards the direction when I heard that song, you know, some sort of thematical thing. [It’s] just a killer song. I think when people hear that song, it’s a great example of kind of the sound and the production that we’re going for on [Riser].”
