Easton Corbin is closing in on Top 30 with his latest single, “Clockwork,” and he says the subject of the song is something a single guy might enjoy…for a short period of time.

“As a guy, a single guy, a girl calling you up in the middle of the night saying, ‘Hey, can I come up?’ That’s not necessarily a bad thing,” laughs Easton. “It’s kinda like drinking – it feels good. The buzz feels really great, but you know the next morning, it’s probably gonna hurt.”

The song, which is the first release from Easton’s forthcoming third album, was written by Easton’s longtime producer Carson Chamberlin, as well as Ashley Gorley and Wade Kirby.

Easton will take his “Clockwork” to Manchester, Iowa on Thursday (July 10th).
