The ’90s influenced band Hot Country Knights made their late night television debut on Monday (2/03) as they performed a new original song, “Asphalt,” on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The modern-day drifter’s lament and “double-entendre-laced power ballad” (Rolling Stone) encapsulates the road-warriors mentality and coincides with the recent announcement behind the Knights 2020 ONE KNIGHT STAND TOUR as tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday (2/07).

The Hot Country Knights also impacted Country radio this week with their debut single “Pick Her Up” feat. Travis Tritt as stations instantly added the song that Saving Country Music dubbed “kind of badass.” Produced and written by multi-Platinum entertainer Dierks Bentley along with co-writers Jim Beavers and Brett Beavers, “Pick Her Up” is a classic barnstormer that features Doug Douglason and Tritt trading vocals filled with “humorous lyrical content” (Billboard) that’s mixed with “a lively fiddle and steel riff” (Entertainment Tonight).
The Knights will embark on the 2020 ONE KNIGHT STAND TOUR when it launches April 7 in San Diego, CA, and it includes major market stops at iconic venues such as Los Angeles’ Wiltern Theater, Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium and what is sure to be an unforgettable night at the Talladega Superspeedway.
