PBS has put together a special celebrating some of the biggest female hitmakers who paved the way for today’s Women of Country titled Iconic Women of Country. Join Kathy Mattea, Trisha Yearwood, Terri Clark, Pam Tillis, Wynonna Judd and more as they pay tribute to the legends who inspired them. From Dolly Parton to Tammy Wynette to Patsy Cline to Loretta Lynn to Kitty Wells to Brenda Lee to Patsy Montana and many more, original interviews, archival footage and vintage recordings are included to showcase the hardships and obstacles these female storytellers had to endure to bring their music to light.
There is a bundle for purchase during the PBS airings that features a DVD with additional exclusive features, plus a CD compilation and a poster created by Hatch Show Print.
