Jon Pardi (Head Over Boots gold) OC: …is pretty cool. :51
“When you go gold, it’s amazing, you know? It is a show of fans really there for you, country radio really there for you, your record label behind you, and it’s a plaque that says, ‘Here’s to all your good hard work that you put out there.’ It’s almost like the fans give you that. It really is kind of cool ’cause they go on iTunes and they buy the single and they go and they stream it. It’s like our trophies as like they would say, and it’s country music radio coming together. Gold records are amazing, and it’s my second gold record. I swear it was like it was never going to come again and now it’s here. It’s amazing, and it feels really great. This is my first one that’s actually still going, which is pretty cool.”
