JORDAN DAVIS GIVES AN UPDATE FROM HOME.
Artist
Jordan Davis

Jordan Davis is at home with his wife Kristen and daughter Eloise experiencing the same thing as the rest of the world during this time of COVID-19-worry, anxiety and being thankful for the ability to be home with his family. The Lousiana native had already made it to the U-K last week when word came that the C2C (Country to Country) festival was being canceled. He and his band turned around and came home. He tells ABC News Radio he’s really worried about his band and crew. “If we’re not on the road, you know, we’re not making money,” Jordan explains. “And if we’re not making money, I can’t pay my crew. I can’t pay my band…You know, everybody thinks that music is mailbox money. And it’s really not. It’s road money.”

He recorded a message to his fans and revealed what he’s been doing while quarantined at home. “I hope everybody is staying healthy and safe during the social distancing. I know we’re catching up on some movies and some TV shows and also just spending a lot of time with my daughter and my wife, trying to get back into catching up on some books and just kind of re-centering and slowing down a little bit. I hope everybody’s kind of doing that. I hope everybody, like I said, stays healthy and safe, and I look forward to being back out and playing music for you guys.”

He’s making his way to the top of the country charts with “Slow Dance in a Parking Lot.”
