Jordan Davis performed for the first time since COVID-19 hit last weekend at a festival in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and he said he hasn’t been that nervous stepping on a stage in a long time.
“You know, being back playing that first show, having a full crowd, full band, feeling like it was normal again, it was crazy. I don’t think we knew how much we missed it, and I haven’t been that nervous, since gol, I can’t tell you the last time I had nerves like that walking on a stage.”
But after the first song in his set was done, he says, “It really did feel like we were back.”
Jordan hits the road again on Friday in Boise, Idaho, followed by a show in Pocatello, Idaho for their Summer Concert Series.
The Louisiana native is making his way near the top of the charts with his latest single, “Almost Maybes.”
