I wanted to go back with something up tempo. So we kind of wrote that whole week, looking for a song like this. I was probably about 50 yards away from where this song was written. This is the first song I’ve ever put out as a single that I’m not a writer on. So, you know, Travis, Emily, Mark, and Steve, they had this and Travis had told me, man, I’ve got something started. I think it’s really cool. And they finished it and sent it over. And I was like, man, this song is done. Like I can’t add anything to it. There’s nothing I want to change.”
