Jordan Davis has hit the top of the Billboard and Country Aircheck country charts with his latest hit, “Tucson Too Late.” The Louisiana native wrote the tune with his brother Jacob Davis and brothers Josh and Matt Jenkins, the same dream team behind “Buy Dirt.”

“I’ve said this, you know, before, I was a big (Keith) Whitley fan, and ‘Miami My Amy’ was always a song that I thought was done so cool, and it’s just a cool way to write a song. So, this was us trying to hopefully live up to something like that. But, yeah, definitely different than anything I’ve ever put out before, and it’s been cool to see a song that is different than ‘World Spins’ and ‘Take It’ and ‘Singles’ and kind of the more uptempo singles I’ve had, to see this one do well too is awesome.”

In between dates on his own headlining Damn Good Time Tour, he’s also direct support for Luke Combs on several of his stadium dates. Next up for Jordan is the ACM Lifting Lives show with Parker McCollum on Wednesday (May 15th).

At this year’s ACM Awards on Thursday (May 16th), Jordan has four nominations including Single of the Year (“Next Thing You Know”), Song of the Year (“Next Thing You Know” – Artist & Songwriter nominations) and Visual Media of the Year (“Next Thing You Know”).
