Josh Turner (Hometown Girl) 1 OC: …no-brainer. :42
“The first time I heard ‘Hometown Girl,’ I was kind of excited, because, first of all, it sounded like a hit to me. It just had that hit chorus and it just had that vibe that didn’t really lose you. It held your attention. But honestly, it was different for me, and that’s kind of what I was looking for. I was looking for those songs that I felt like that would be different for me that or things that I hadn’t done really yet, but still had those Josh Turner ingredients, which is basically a lyric that tells a story that has a good message and just has a melody that caters to my voice. It had all that, and so it was just kind of a no-brainer.”
