KEITH URBAN AND P!NK RECORDED “ONE TOO MANY” SEPARATELY BUT SEAMLESSLY.

Keith Urban

Keith Urban is scaling the country charts with his latest single, “One Too Many,” a soulful country duet with pop superstar P!NK. Unfortunately, due to the global pandemic of COVID-19, the two artists weren’t able to record the song together.

“We had such a great time getting to do that,” says Keith. “I wish we could’ve done it in the same space, but you know with the situation we’re in, of course, we couldn’t do that. So, she recorded her vocal at her house and I did mine at my house, and we put it together.”

Keith loved the song, written by Cleo Tighe, Daniel Davidsen, James Norton, Mich Hansen and Peter Wallevik, immediately and was hoping P!NK would as well.

“This song was written as a duet, and I sent the song to her and luckily she loved it. I loved the song and I was really hoping she would love it, because she’s truly one of the great singers of our generation. So, to hear her voice on this song was phenomenal.”

“One Too Many” is from Keith’s tenth studio album, The Speed of Now Part 1, which also includes “We Were,” “Out The Cage,” “God Whispered Your Name,” “Polaroid” and “Superman.”
