KEITH URBAN BRINGS FAN ON STAGE TO SHRED GUITAR ON ‘GOOD THING.’
Artist
Keith Urban
While in between songs during his sold-out show — the first of a two-night stand in Gilford, New Hampshire — this past Saturday night (July 3rd), Keith Urban gave an aspiring musician a chance to play in front of thousands of people. Keith looked out into the audience, and invited the fan — Rob Joyce — up to the stage after spying a sign held up by his girlfriend.  After reading the sign — which read “It’s my boyfriend’s birthday!” (Joyce held a sign “Can I play your guitar?”), Keith motioned for him to join the band.
The two launched into Urban’s “Good Thing” while the crowd went wild. It is these moments that make Keith Urban concerts some of the best, most unpredictable ‘experiences.’
PS: If you’ll notice Urban is about to be handed an acoustic (guitar), band is side stage, as he was to perform his next song solo.  The band quickly jumps into action to play, but Keith has no guitar in sight, so “Rob” takes the lead while Urban sings.
