KEITH URBAN SUITING UP TO PERFORM DURING THE NFL KICK-OFF. (AUDIO)

Keith Urban is suited up and ready for some football. He is set to perform during NBC pregame show – NFL Kickoff 2013 — before the Baltimore Ravens open the season at the Denver Broncos stadium on Thursday (September 5th) at 7:30pm ET. It’s not the singer’s first quarter performing at football games. The Grammy winner has helped kick off the NFL season before – the last time was prior to the New York Giants as they played host to the Washington Redskins in 2008. Keith also performed during the pregame festivities prior to 2011’s Super Bowl game, as well as the half-time performance during the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving football game in 2010.

He’ll perform from a stage floating in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, and will feature new music from his September 10th album release FUSE. The show leads into the season opener between the Baltimore Ravens and the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver.

Simulcast coverage of the 60-minute pregame show from Baltimore and Denver will air from 7:30 – 8:30 PM ET on NBC and NFL Network. The live pregame broadcast also will be available via NFL Mobile from Verizon.

If you miss Keith on Thursday, you can also catch him perform during NBC’s Today Show Summer Concert Series September 10th – the same day his album, Fuse, arrives in stores.

“We love watching a lot of football games. Certainly, from all of the years I’ve lived in Nashville, I’ve become a very passionate Titans supporter, and we love Chris Johnson. I’m really grateful that we get to be a part of the kickoff for the NFL season. We’ve certainly done a lot of shows now with the NFL. We did a party for the Super Bowl, and of course we did the half-time show for the Thanksgiving game down in Dallas, which was a lot of fun, and we did a kickoff in New York a couple of years back too with Usher and Natasha Beningfield, so I’m grateful we get to go back and be a part of it in Baltimore.”
