Artist
Keith Urban

Watching Keith Urban play guitar, or any instrument really, is like watching poetry in motion. He has a certain style of playing the reels you in no matter how many times you’ve seen him perform. He says his style is based on his father and on picking up the instrument and practicing every chance he could get.

“Probably a combination of my dad being a drummer, who’s obviously influenced the core of what is my music, but also I started playing guitar at six,” says Keith. “And when you sit in your bedroom playing acoustic guitar every day after school and many mornings before school with my parents telling me I’m running late, you get very rhythmic because it’s just me in the room with my guitar. I didn’t have a drum machine or anything like that, so I got very rhythmic in the way I play. So, it’s always been a big strong part of my music.”

Keith, who is making his way up the country charts with “One Too Many,” featuring P!nk, just announced rescheduled dates for his Las Vegas Residency at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace happening this fall.
