Kip Moore kicked off the second leg of his WILD ONES Tour with a string of sold-out shows this weekend. Known as “a natural when he’s on stage” (Washington Post), Moore is also making waves across the pond when almost immediately after tickets went on sale to his April Manchester, UK and Glasgow, UK dates, unanticipated demand led to the scheduling of bigger venues in both locations. This enthusiastic following was established during Moore’s first stint overseas last year when he “led the 20,000-capacity through a singalong” (Rolling Stone) at the O2 Arena in London.
Fans will also be able to catch Moore from an intimate perspective as his episode of Front and Center, celebrating the CMA Songwriters, begins airing across the country this month. Filmed at the historic Iridium in New York City the acoustic performance features stripped down versions of songs taken from Moore’s critically acclaimed sophomore album, WILD ONES which was heralded by The Guardian as “an impressively singular release from Music Row.” Moore was joined by renowned songwriters Brett James and Jaren Johnston for the taping and a full list of air dates is available here.
Moore will continue on his headlining WILD ONES TOUR this weekend with stops in Park City, KS (2/4), Kansas City, MO (2/5) and Clive, IA (2/6.) Fans will be able to experience songs from Moore’s album WILD ONES that VICE declares “sprinkles a little late-night Bonnaroo magic…that’s made to be witnessed live.” Moore’s new single “Running For You,” hailed by Billboard as “a career song from the album,” continues to climb the charts.
