LADY ANTEBELLUM ADDS A NEW MEMBER — HILLARY SCOTT WELCOMES FIRST CHILD! (AUDIO)

While everyone had their attention diverted by  Kate’s baby watch in England, country music was celebrating their own “royal baby.” Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott and her husband, drummer Chris Tyrrell, welcomed their first child  — a girl — Monday (July 22nd). Eisele Kaye Tyrell weighed in at 7 pounds, 13 ounces. Pronounced Eyes-lee, it’s a combination of Chris’ mother’s maiden name and Hillary’s mom’s middle name (Kaye).

She is incredibly gorgeous,” proud dad Chris tells People.

Hillary and Chris tied the knot in January 2012 during an intimate ceremony in Upstate New York, following a six-month engagement. Hillary announced the pregnancy in December, and revealed in March that they were expecting a girl.

Hillary tweeted a photo and wrote, “She’s here, and we are in HEAVEN!!! Eisele Kaye, our beautiful angel, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!”

In the meantime, Lady A’s latest single “Goodbye Town,” is making its way up the country charts.

Lady A (Hillary’s baby prep) OC: …meet her. :28
“I’ve been reading a lot, but honestly, not too much about, especially labor and delivery. I’m just trying to be prepared as much aspossibly, and definitely thinking about the future, for sure. I mean, not just about her getting here and getting into that routine, but also just wanting to really, it starts from the very beginning  preparing them to become the person, the adult, that they become. It all starts so early and every day it matters, and it’s important. We just can’t wait to meet her.”
