The members of Lady Antebellum are celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the release of their self-titled debut album. Released on April 15th, 2008, Lady Antebellum was produced by Paul Worley along with songwriter Victoria Shaw. At the time it was the first album by a new duo or group to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. It produced several hits including “Love Don’t Live Here,” “Lookin’ for a Good Time” and their first chart-topping song “I Run to You.”

The band is currently making their way up the country charts with “Heart Break,” the title of their latest album.

Audio / Back in 2008, Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley talked about their first No. 1 single, “Run to You,” which is from their self-titled debut album. The song is just as relevant today as it was 10 years ago.

Lady Antebellum (Run to You) OC: …this person. :28
CHARLES: “I think for us, we just felt like it was time to say something a little deeper with our third single. We came out with just two really fun songs, in our opinion, but I don’t know. With ‘Run to You’ it has a lot of stuff that’s going on right now in the world. There’s a big feeling of uncertainty right now, and this song’s kind of about no matter whatever goes on, it’s nice to have someone to run to and you can kinda always fall into this person.”
