Tickets for Lady Antebellum’s Rebuilding Henryville Charity Ball go on sale Friday (April 27th) at 10am through Ticketmaster. The benefit show will take place May 16th in Louisville, Kentucky, and all ticket sale proceeds will go to the Tornado Relief Efforts in Henryville, Indiana. The show first began as a contest between high schools to have Lady A perform at their Prom. After receiving videos from neighboring high schools, Henryville High was chosen as the winner and the idea for an even bigger event was born. The band is excited to be giving them a helping hand. “We kinda just wanted to do something to bring a little joy and excitement to the community,” says Charles.

The trio has been off the road for a couple of weeks – while Dave Haywood tied the knot and so the rest of the band could enjoy a few days of well-earned vacation. They’ll return to their Own The Night 2012 World Tour with a two-night stand in New York City May 3rd and 4th.

Lady A are currently “dancing” their way to the top of the country charts with their latest single, “Dancin’ Away With My Heart.”

Lady A (Henryville) OC: …in the world. :30

CHARLES: “Man, we’re just so excited to be able to, to be playing for the community there in Henryville, and our thoughts go out to them. And we kinda just wanted to do something to bring a little joy and excitement to the community.” HILLARY: “Yeah, it’ll be really cool to see hopefully a lot of smiling faces, and anything we can do to try to help them forget – for even just for a few minutes – all of the things that they’ve been through over the past few weeks and just give them joy and put smiles on their faces. That’ll be absolutely the coolest feeling in the world.”
