Lady Antebellum arrives in stores and online Tuesday (September 30th), and they feel the album really kind of embodies what they were hoping for in the new album.
“There’s a song we cut on the record called ‘747,’ and…the theme of that to us feels like what represents the record – a big sound coming at you with a lot of urgency,” says Lady A’s Dave Haywood. “I felt like this was a new chapter for us as Lady A, and a new sound. We had a new producer, Nathan Chapman, guide us through making this record, and really he had a big part in a lot of the big sound.”
The album features their recent two-week No. 1 hit, “Bartender.”

I felt like this was a new chapter for us as Lady A, and a new sound. We had a new producer, Nathan Chapman, guide us through making this record, and really he had a big part in a lot of the big sound, you know, like on ‘Bartender’ and then some of the other stuff, once you hear the rest of the record. It represents, I think, our theme of wanting something really in your face.”
