Lauren Alaina recorded a cover of Cheap Trick’s classic 1978 smash, “Surrender,” at Sound City Studios in L.A. She and her band even recorded her vocals in the studio’s bathroom — the same location where the band recorded the song over 40 years ago. “We kind of stripped it back and got to showcase what the song is and put a little Lauren Alaina on it,” the singer told Rolling Stone.
