(Nashville, TN) – Last night, Lauren Alaina fans got to hear her brand-new single “Barefoot And Buckwild” for the first time in its entirety, when Lauren played it during her livestream chat.  “Barefoot And Buckwild” is available for purchase today at all digital retailers, by clicking here and here.  The song, written by Alaina with Chris DeStefano and Jon Nite, will hit Country radio this week. Lauren will premiere “Barefoot And Buckwild” live when she returns to perform on the American Idol stage this Thursday, May 9th at 8pm ET on FOX.

“Barefoot And Buckwild” is the lead single off of her forthcoming sophomore album, scheduled for release later this year on Mercury Records/19/Interscope.  Alaina’s new album follows her first album Wildflower, which debuted at #1 on the iTunes Country chart in 2011, and was the best-selling digital album by a debut country female.
